For non-members, the opportunity to fish is available at Birch Lake, providing a unique and enjoyable experience.
Important Notice for the 2027 Season & Beyond
To protect our fish stocks during peak summer temperatures, seasonal closures will apply to certain lakes during July and August. Please see details below.
Non Members - From £55
(Birch Lake fishing only on quota tickets. Note: Closed During July & August 2027)
Non-members have the option to purchase 'Quota Tickets,' our innovative twist on the conventional day ticket. What sets it apart is the flexibility to revisit Duncton Mill repeatedly until you've reached your quota.
No Need To Specify Arrival Date
Simply purchase your quota online and arrive at Duncton any day you please (excluding July and August 2027). Check our Diary for limited winter closure dates. Non-Member fishing hours are 8am–6pm.
Unlimited Return Visits Within Six Months
Return to Birch Lake as many times as you like within six months from the date of purchase, until you have caught your quota. (Please note: Quota tickets cannot be used during the July and August 2027 summer closure).
Additional Fishing Guest
You are welcome to bring 1 additional fishing guest to share your quota.
Annual Fishery Membership - From £290
Duncton Mill members enjoy unparalleled privileges, including exclusive access to all four lakes, extended fishing hours from dawn till dusk, reduced prices on fish, and invitations to exclusive member events.
Dawn Till Dusk Fishing
Members are free to come and go as they please, fishing the whole of our site between dawn and dusk, year round.
Summer Conservation Access
From 1st July to 1st September 2027, Rosie, Coot, and Alder lakes will close to protect fish welfare during the warmest months. However, members enjoy exclusive access to Birch Lake throughout July and August, which remains open thanks to its resilient depth and water flow.
5 Guest Visits
During your membership, anglers are welcome to bring up to 5 guests to share your membership quota of fish (restricted to Birch Lake only during July and August).
5 Free Fish
To get you off the mark, our memberships include 5 free fish to ensure you can get fishing right away.

FISHERY RULES

Catch and Take only. No returning of fish.

Anglers may only fish with a single fly at one time.

Barbed hooks only.

All nets must be dipped before fishing.

All catches must be weighed and logged at the Check In Kiosk.

No dogs.

Fishing must cease once purchased limit reached. Extra fish can be purchased from a member of staff onsite.

Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

All anglers must have a valid environment agency rod license.

No littering, please use the bins provided.

We accept no liability for personal injuries received by any angler or for any loss or damage to personal property.
